Why swiping beats random video chat
Most random video chat apps drop you straight into a live camera with whoever is next in
line. You find out who they are while they are already looking at you. VibeSwipe shows you
a profile card first, and the video only starts when you both swipe right. So every call
begins with two people saying yes, instead of a random pairing.
What moderation really means here
Nobody can check live video before it happens. What we can check is everything around the
call: the 18+ gate on the way in, the photo you join with, the reports that come out of a
chat, and the accounts behind them. If you report someone, the call ends right away and
they are blocked for you before a human even looks.
Stay in control of what you show
Your camera shows more than your face. Point it at a plain wall, check your own preview
before you go live, and treat anything in shot as something you are publishing. Anyone
asking for your number or another app in the first five minutes is running a script. End
the call, then report it.
Who you actually meet
VibeSwipe is 18+, free, and there is no account to make, so the deck is whoever is awake
and in the mood at the same time as you. Vibes narrow it down: music, gaming, late night,
